My expertise / skills : I am an agronomist at the university of Copenhagen and looking to collaborate in Biodiversa call. My interest is to look at different farming systems and how these farming systems support aboveground and belowground flora and fauna diversity. If you are interested, we can follow up on the discussion or talk over skype to discuss the ideas

My key expertise are molecular plant breeding and agronomy, field trial planning andexecution, agronomy/field crop production, nutrient uptake and utilization, 15Nstable isotope use, cultivar screening for pest and disease, molecular plant breeding, crop and soil process modelling, soil carbon and nitrogen dynamics, ecosystem service quantification and valuation, ecological stoichiometry, value chain analysis, emergy synthesis and multivariate modelling in ArcGIS.

Currently, I am participating in 4 EU projects; viz. WaterFARMING (ERA-NET), SustainFARM (ERA-NET), LANDMARK (Horizon 2020) and DIVERSIFY (H2020). I am also coordinating a cotton breeding project (CottonBREED) in India
I am working on :
Crop Production
Crop Science
Genetics and heredity (excluding Medical Genetics)
Plant Biotechnology
Plant Sciences
Plant Selection
Quantitative genetics
Selection using molecular markers
Technologies for biomass production
Keywords : soil and plant biodiversity, production systems, climate change adaptation and mitigation, ecosystem services, modelling, field experiments, long term trails
Project description : I am looking to join a project or a project consortium to investigate the relationship between the climate change, agroecosystem systems and above/below-ground biodiversity within the theme "Potential of nature-based solutions for mitigating and adapting to climate change". I am also open to other ideas
Networking opportunities : Agroforestry
Soil functions
