a project to join
CTT‑3NanoSAE, University of Bucharest, combines expertise in advanced materials, electrochemistry, biotechnology and environmental remediation, linking research with technology transfer. Its experience covers functional nanomaterials, microbial fuel cells, electrochemical sensing, membrane processes and ozone-based water treatment. The centre supports integrated water-quality monitoring and remediation through MFC- biosensors for early warning of toxic stress; plant bioindicators assessed through chlorophyll, polyphenols and hyperspectral responses; and complementary analytical methods for pollutant identification. Micro/nanoplastic detection/ removal based deep eutectic &green solvents-selective extraction, advanced oxidation, and ecological treatment systems combining microorganisms and plants. CTT‑3NanoSAE seeks to contribute to multidisciplinary consortia through materials development, laboratory validation, and integrated physicochemical* biotech methods
Topic 1. Integrated Monitoring and Assessment for Sustainable Water Management
Topic 2. Nature-Based Approaches for Resilient Water Management at Hydrological and Hydrogeological System Scale
Topic 3. Smart, Secure and Adaptive Water Infrastructures for Sustainable Water Management
topic 1/2/3: CTT03nanosae , seek to join in WP for TRL4-5 lab scale validation: MFC responsive to environmental stressors, AOP ozon/oxygen ecological treatment to reduce aquatic pollution. EutectoDES/gel-chelating agents for Micro‑ and nanoplastics removing collecting. We explore hyperspectral-laser irradiation an specific responsive/ wavelength. Role of plants- Eco‑machines integrating microbial communities, aquatic plants and bioaccumulators would provide complementary treatment for nutrients and selected metals. Cooperation Romanian–Bulgarian at coastal environments, on this subject contribute embedded processing and edge AI for local analysis and early-warning functions.
microbial fuel cell biosensors, ozone-based advanced oxidation, eutectogel-assisted micro/nanoplastics removal, hyperspectral sensing, eco-machine bioremediation
