a partner (for my project)
Field of Expertise: Senior Agri-Environmental Systems Scientist and Modeller at University College Dublin (UCD) with over 30 years of expertise in soil-hydro biogechamistry, GHG) emissions, carbon sequestration, digital twin architectures, and decision-support modelling for climate-resilient agricultural systems.

Key Skills and Keywords: Agri-Environmental Systems Modelling, Greenhouse Gas Mitigation and Carbon Footprinting, Digital Twins and Decision Support Systems, Land-Use Planning and Agroecosystem Health, etc.

Ongoing Projects and Frameworks: HOLOSEU / HOLOS-IE: ERA-NET ICT-AGRI-FOOD and SFI-funded digital platforms for land-use planning, carbon footprinting, and decision-making in European agriculture.

MODASYS (Model for Decision-Making in Agri-Environmental Systems): Lead modeller/developer of a next-generation hybrid digital platform integrating spatial data, and predictive algorithms for farm-scale to regional ecosytem and sustainability benchmarking.
ReLive: Co-leading ERA-NET project on sustainable livestock production and emissions reduction.

Recent Publications and Contributions: Over 200 peer-reviewed scientific publications covering soil-water-nutrient interactions, agricultural GHG inventories, and predictive environmental modelling (e.g., in Geoderma, Science of The Total Environment, and GCB Bioenergy). Founder of the International Symposium on Climate-Resilient Agri-Environmental Systems (ISCRAES).
Topic 1. Integrated Monitoring and Assessment for Sustainable Water Management
Topic 2. Nature-Based Approaches for Resilient Water Management at Hydrological and Hydrogeological System Scale
Project Overview and Objectives:
The ECO-TWIN initiative develops digital twin frameworks and predictive decision-support models to tackle agricultural pollution, monitor land-use dynamics, and safeguard water quality across European river basins.

What We Offer:
We provide expertise in digital twin architecture, data integration, and predictive analytics. We offer to plug real-time sensor streams into the interactive ECO-TWIN dashboard, with modular integration capabilities into the MODASYS framework and other decision-support tools for predictive pollution benchmarking.

Partner Search and Consortium Intentions:
Seeking Partners: We look for partners and coordinators in the Atlantic, Continental, and Mediterranean regions operating (and/or tobe0 field observatories, experimental catchments, or surface waterbodies/river-monitoring facilities with operational in-situ sensors (soil states, land practices, and surface water quality).

Joining Consortia: We are also open to join broader consortium as work package leaders for digital twin architecture, data modelling, and predictive analytics.
land-water bodies nexus, digital twin frameworks, in-situ sensor networks, predictive pollution benchmarking, catchment management and hydrology, water quality monitoring, agricultural land use and soil health, environmental decision support systems, real-time data integration
1. LCAFood Conference 12-15 October, Montreal.
2. EU ACP Network Brokerage Event: 5-6 November, Brussels.
3. Virtual meeting.
