Falken Technologies is an engineering and technology company specialized in the development of intelligent electrical, electronic and control systems for energy and mobility applications. The company develops integrated hardware and software solutions combining power electronics, embedded control, automation, real-time monitoring and data-driven optimization.

For GORG, Falken Technologies will contribute expertise in intelligent water infrastructure, distributed sensing and control, automated pumping and valve management, energy-efficient operation, digital twins and AI-assisted decision-making. Falken will focus on the development and integration of the technological platform enabling adaptive management of water resources and irrigation infrastructure.

Topic 3. Smart, Secure and Adaptive Water Infrastructures for Sustainable Water Management

GORG (Gestió i Optimització de Recursos Globals d’Aigua) is a collaborative R&D project focused on developing intelligent and adaptive water infrastructure for climate-resilient agriculture. The project aims to move from conventional, fixed irrigation management towards a dynamic approach integrating distributed monitoring, digital water twins, predictive models, AI-assisted decision-making and automated control of pumps, valves and irrigation sectors.

Falken Technologies is seeking partners to build a multidisciplinary consortium covering complementary expertise in hydrology, agronomy, water management, digital modelling, field validation and governance. In particular, we are interested in research organisations, technology providers, irrigation communities and water operators able to contribute real-world pilot sites, water-system modelling, agronomic knowledge and validation environments.

Falken Technologies would lead the technological integration of the GORG platform, including sensing and edge control, digital water infrastructure, predictive intelligence and adaptive irrigation control.

The project will demonstrate how real-time data and intelligent control can improve water-use efficiency, reduce losses, optimise energy consumption and support more resilient and sustainable agricultural water management.
