a project to join
My expertise lies in advanced membrane technologies, nanomaterials, and sustainable separation processes for water and energy applications. I have over 16 years of experience in energy and materials research, with a strong focus on the development, functionalization, characterization, and scale-up of polymeric and nanostructured membranes.

As the founder of GMZ Enerji, I lead the development of functional nanofiber membranes for wastewater treatment and PFAS-free ion-exchange membranes (CEM/AEM) for electrodialysis and selective ion separation. Our nanofiber membrane technology has been tested with real textile wastewater, demonstrating high removal performance for dyes and heavy metals. We can contribute to collaborative projects through membrane design and functionalization, material characterization, laboratory validation, integration into water-treatment systems, and pilot-scale demonstration.

I am particularly interested in sustainable industrial wastewater treatment, water reuse, selective separation, electrodialysis, emerging contaminant removal, and advanced membrane-based water treatment technologies.

Topic 3. Smart, Secure and Adaptive Water Infrastructures for Sustainable Water Management
We are interested in joining a Water4All consortium under Topic 3 – Smart, Secure and Adaptive Water Infrastructures for Sustainable Water Management, where advanced membrane technologies can contribute to more efficient, resilient and sustainable water treatment systems.

GMZ Enerji can contribute two complementary membrane technology platforms: functional nanofiber membranes for the treatment of industrial wastewater and PFAS-free ion-exchange membranes (CEM/AEM) for electrodialysis and selective ion separation. Our nanofiber membranes have already been tested with real textile wastewater, demonstrating high removal performance for dyes and heavy metals.

We are particularly interested in projects addressing industrial wastewater treatment, water reuse, advanced contaminant removal, electrodialysis, selective separation and the integration of innovative membrane technologies into pilot-scale water treatment systems.

As a technology-providing SME with strong R&D capabilities, we can contribute to membrane development and functionalization, material and performance characterization, laboratory testing, process integration, optimization and pilot-scale validation. We are especially interested in consortia where our membrane technologies can be integrated and demonstrated within real industrial or water-treatment environments, supporting their progression toward market-ready solutions.

Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe & Carbon Capture Technology Expo Europe, Hamburg, Germany (2026).

I am also actively participating in European and international events related to advanced materials, membrane technologies, hydrogen, sustainable water treatment and industrial wastewater management, and I would be pleased to arrange meetings with potential Water4All partners during upcoming events.
