My field of expertise is applied phycology and sustainable agriculture, with a focus on the use of microalgae and cyanobacteria for water treatment, soil restoration and biofertilizers. My research includes Chlorella, Spirulina and Nostoc, circular water management, and sustainable agricultural technologies.

Development of an algae-based circular water management system using Chlorella and Spirulina to remove nutrients and pollutants from agricultural wastewater and recover them as valuable biomass. The project will assess water purification efficiency, biomass production and its subsequent use as a biofertilizer, creating a circular solution that reduces water pollution, supports water reuse and improves resource efficiency agriculture.
