SMART-DAUZUC: Zero-Discharge Wastewater Treatment via Passive Thermodynamic Aeration & Smart Digital TwinSeeking: Transnational Consortia looking for an Industrial/SME Partner for Topic 2 (Nature-Based Solutions) or Topic 3 (Smart Water Infrastructures).Profile Description:We are an eco-innovation micro-SME from Romania holding Patent Application No. 138972 A2 (published in BOPI 6/2025) for a disruptive, decentralized wastewater treatment technology. Our system achieves a Net-Zero Energy paradigm by utilizing 100% passive biological aeration driven by a natural thermodynamic chimney effect, completely eliminating the need for mechanical air blowers or pumps.Designed as a strict Zero-Discharge system, it evacuates treated effluent entirely through capillary-driven subsurface evapotranspiration and groundwater recharge, utilizing a filtration bed composed of crushed concrete waste.Our Role in the Project:Having validated the core biological and thermodynamic mechanics in a laboratory environment (TRL 4), we are seeking to join a consortium to scale this technology to TRL 5-7/8. Our main contribution will involve manufacturing the physical smart-pilot unit and embedding a resilient IoT sensor matrix (ultrasonic level, turbidity, micro-anemometers) to feed real-time data into a predictive Digital Twin platform for remote, autonomous asset management.
