The IFA-Proficiency Testing Scheme (IPS) is an analytical laboratory that organizes proficiency tests for water analysis and has more than 30 years of experience. Our expertise includes the analysis of the most important water parameters, the preparation of highly stable synthetic water samples mimicking natural matrices and concentration ranges, interlaboratory comparisons, and method validation. We are embedded in the Institute of Bioanalytics and Agro-Metabolomics, which has extensive experience in the analysis of environmental samples and collaborates internationally.

We seek projects that make use of our experience in the field of water analysis and validation.

We would like to join projects where we can contribute our expertise in the analysis of the most important water parameters, the preparation of highly stable synthetic water samples that mimic natural matrices and concentration ranges, interlaboratory comparisons, and method validation.

Interesting topics might include the development and validation of novel sensing schemes or the analysis of emerging water contaminants, such as endocrine disruptors.
