a project to join
Altereo is an independent engineering, consulting and innovation firm based in France, specialising in urban hydraulics, environmental engineering, sustainable territorial planning and digital solutions for public infrastructure (i.e. such as AI-driven predictive maintenance for water networks). We have over 35 years of experience in water and urban infrastructure engineering and have previously participated in major national collaborative innovations projects (e.g. ERICA project: partnering with French Geological Survey for Water Resilience in the city of Bordeaux, France).
Topic 3. Smart, Secure and Adaptive Water Infrastructures for Sustainable Water Management
Topic 4. Resilient Water Systems Through Systemic Change, Policy Coherence and Inclusive Governance
Altereo (i.e. French Water Engineering and Consulting SME) is looking for opportunities to join an exisiting consortium for the Water4All Fifth Joint Transnational Call on Sustainable Water Management launched on 8 September 2026.

Within a consortium, we can contribute to:
• Lead a specific work package to evaluate systemic resilience of water systems (Patault et al., 2025)
• Develop ensemble modelling for robust decision making or scenario planning under deep uncertainties (Maurié et al., 2026)
• Find water utilities for pilot deployment (leveraging an extensive network of water services in France).

We seek to integrate an existing and balanced consortium with Partners from different countries and complementary expertise.
We look forward to building a strong consortium together.
