Agrotech da Holanda is the Brazilian brand of products by Dutch Flow Technology. Two product lines are available, both addressing key constraints in Brazilian agriculture: water security and post-harvest loss. 1. A Smart Solar-powered Irrigation system, with site-engineered pumping, useable with water source, with drip, sprinkler or channel distribution. Sensor-based monitoring of soil moisture, water level, pH and weather data, connected to a cloud dashboard. Services: Site and soil assessment, hydraulic design, installation, cloud/app setup, commissioning and operator training. 2. Solar Cold Storage Containers Off-grid 20 ft and 40 ft cooling containers operating from +10 to -5°C, with 24-hour battery autonomy and automatic grid/generator switching. Active humidity and dew-point control, remote monitoring and app/SMS alarms. Designed for on-farm cooling, washing and packing to reduce post-harvest loss and enable off-season sales. Designed to be transportable by standard container carrying trucks, so that multiple farms within regions or cooperatives can share cooling infrastructure across their harvests.
Topic 1. Integrated Monitoring and Assessment for Sustainable Water Management
Topic 2. Nature-Based Approaches for Resilient Water Management at Hydrological and Hydrogeological System Scale
Topic 3. Smart, Secure and Adaptive Water Infrastructures for Sustainable Water Management
Topic 4. Resilient Water Systems Through Systemic Change, Policy Coherence and Inclusive Governance
We work on the nexus of water, energy and food security and want to contribute with our technical infrastructure for researchers to find our new ways to minimize energy and water use, whilst maximizing food production, all while staying in balance with the natural environment. Every location has its unique context and we design systems with minimum negative impacts, from flood risk reduction, capturing water in floods and using it for dry periods, to combining with nutrients from fish ponds. You name it, we make a system around it.
