IKK - Institute of Plastics and Circular Economy, located at Leibniz University Hannover has a broad experience in plastic processing, material testing and analysis. Among other key expertises within the project SkalAb we have established a unique infrastructure for investigating the degradation mechanisms of plastics.

Specifically, we can contribute:
- extensive expertise in plastics processing
- preparation of defined (micro) plastic sample materials
- extensive expertise in plastics analysis
- unique facilities for investigating degradation processes under realistic conditions in the laboratory
- microplastic analysis based on different technical approaches

We are looking forward to discussions about possible collaborations within Water4All 2026!
