I am currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Environmental Engineering and Management Program at the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand. My expertise spans critical areas such as water and wastewater treatment, resource recovery, anaerobic fermentation processes, Life Cycle Assessments, and enhancing climate resilience in WASH systems.
I am actively seeking collaboration opportunities on innovative projects that leverage AI and advanced monitoring tools for water quality assessment, digital twin technology, sewage flow management, and the optimization of water and wastewater treatment plants in the face of future climate uncertainties. The technologies and systems can be tested or piloted for Asian conditions, where we can serve as a project partner in the call.
I hold a Doctoral Degree in Environmental Technology from the esteemed Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctoral Program, specializing in Environmental Technologies for Solids, Soil, and Sediments (ETeCoS3), a collaborative effort among the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio (Italy), University of Paris-Est (France), and UN-IHE Delft Institute for Water Education (the Netherlands), which I completed in 2015. Prior to my current role, I contributed as an Assistant Professor at Kathmandu University for four and a half years and at Nepal Engineering College for two years, where I honed my skills and built a strong foundation in environmental engineering education and research.
