As a cluster specialising in the green transition and innovation, we focus on water as a driver of environmental and economic growth and the issues it presents: measuring the water footprint, reducing pollution discharges, recycling and reusing wastewater, and utilising nature-based solutions to tackle climate change.
We bring together economic stakeholders and support initiatives, projects and innovations aimed at conserving resources and the environment, combating pollution, decarbonising the economy and adapting our activities to meet various environmental challenges. Topic 4. Resilient Water Systems Through Systemic Change, Policy Coherence and Inclusive Governance

Soltena is a regional innovation cluster dedicated to ecological transition, bringing together companies, public authorities, research organisations and other stakeholders. Our water-related activities focus on innovation, sustainable resource management and cooperation between public and private actors.

We are particularly interested in projects addressing systemic change, inclusive governance and the links between water management, innovation and public policies.

As a partner, Soltena could contribute to:
• stakeholder mapping, engagement and multi-actor co-design;
• connecting research and innovation with territorial needs and public authorities;
• identifying and addressing barriers to the uptake of innovative solutions;
• knowledge transfer, dissemination and exploitation of project results;
• supporting the uptake and replication of solutions across territories.

We are looking to join a consortium with a strong research and/or technical core, where an intermediary organisation can help bridge research, innovation, businesses, territories and public authorities and support the practical uptake of project results.
