GAP International Agricultural Research and Training Center (GAPUTAEM) is a public agricultural research institution located in Diyarbakır, Türkiye, with strong expertise and field capacity in sustainable agriculture, agricultural water management, precision agriculture, climate-smart farming and farmer-oriented demonstration activities.

Our expertise includes field-scale agricultural research, soil and crop monitoring, precision farming technologies, GNSS/RTK-based applications, remote sensing and drone-based crop monitoring, variable-rate applications, digital agricultural data collection, and the evaluation of climate-resilient farming practices under semi-arid conditions.

GAPUTAEM has access to research and demonstration fields and works directly with farmers and agricultural stakeholders across the GAP Region. This provides a strong environment for Living Lab activities, field validation, demonstration, stakeholder engagement and testing innovative water and digital agriculture solutions under real farming conditions.

We are particularly interested in contributing to Water4All projects addressing water-use efficiency in agriculture, smart irrigation, soil-water monitoring, climate resilience, digital twins, sensors, remote sensing and AI/data-driven decision-support systems.

GAP International Agricultural Research and Training Center (GAPUTAEM), Türkiye, is interested in joining an existing or developing consortium under the Water4All 2026 Joint Transnational Call, particularly within Topic 1 and Topic 3, with potential contributions to Topic 4.
We are interested in projects developing innovative and transferable solutions for sustainable agricultural water management, including integrated water and soil monitoring, smart irrigation, sensors, remote sensing, digital twins, AI/data-driven decision-support systems, climate resilience and improved water-use efficiency.
GAPUTAEM can contribute by providing real-world research, pilot and demonstration environments in Southeastern Türkiye, a major agricultural region characterised by irrigated farming and semi-arid climatic conditions. We can support field trials, data collection, validation of innovative technologies, Living Lab activities, farmer and stakeholder engagement, training, demonstration and dissemination.

GAPUTAEM can serve as a Turkish research and demonstration partner and contribute to a Work Package or Task related to agricultural water management, field validation, Living Labs, stakeholder engagement and replication.
Our aim is to collaborate with European and international partners to develop solutions that can be tested under real farming conditions in the GAP Region and subsequently transferred to other water-stressed and climate-vulnerable regions.
