Mazeda Youth Foundation (MYF) is a registered youth-led non-profit operating in Chandpur, Bangladesh — a riverine district and recognised national arsenic hotspot. Our field expertise: safe drinking water and arsenic mitigation at community level. We have installed ten completed, GPS-tagged community tube wells (MYF-01 to MYF-10) across Shahrasthi Upazila, each tested for arsenic and iron using DPHE field kits, with unsafe sources re-bored deeper or reassigned to non-drinking use. We hold established community consent through local caretaker committees, Union Parishad, mosques and madrasas, and maintain a working relationship with the Shahrasthi Upazila DPHE (Department of Public Health Engineering). We seek to join a consortium as a self-funded or subcontracted field partner, serving as the local implementation, community-engagement and field-data node. We can host and operate a real-world groundwater monitoring and data-collection site (arsenic/iron, source depth, seasonal variation) in an under-studied LDC arsenic zone, and offer Chandpur's riverine hydrogeology as a case study for resilient, nature-based source management. We provide ground-level access, community trust, and defensible field data that a European consortium cannot easily obtain remotely, and are ready to co-design a work package drawing on our sites and data.
