I am looking for partners to develop watershed analysis models to complement the project I am currently coordinating: 'Spatial Changes and Exposure to Hydrological Events in Urban Landscapes of the Amazon Floodplain' (Ordinance n. 64/2026 – IG/UFPA; 1 August 2026 to 1 August 2029). The project's general objective under CNPq Call n. 23/2025 is to evaluate exposure to extreme hydrological events affecting city networks in the Amazon floodplain, as well as the resulting socio-spatial transformations from the floodplain's land-use dynamics. The overarching research question is whether cities bordering the Amazon floodplain are becoming less resilient due to exposure to hydrological risks, thereby exacerbating existing vulnerabilities.
