Experimentalist in fluid mechanics, with an expertise in direct visualization techniques to characterize flow, transport, mixing, clogging, in 3d porous media. I develop techniques to make 3D printed transparent replica of real soils microstructure to investigate how local heterogeneities in the soil microstructure affect flow and transport properties, with applications ranging from soil reinforcement, contaminant transport and dispersion, or erosion/suffusion. Still an early career researcher.

We are willing to develop the range of applications that we explore with the development in our lab of innovative direct visualization techniques to revisit crucial processes in soils and porous media when a fluid is flowing through it, such as transport, mixing, dispersion, clogging, erosion, suffusion, in 3d porous media. We are able to make transparent replica of real soils microstructures and to characterize at the pore scale the mechanisms at play. We plan to use these to investigate the role of heterogeneities over the flow, and are looking for other scientifically exciting and fruitful project to join by bringing our pore scale experimentalist approach and applying it at larger scales.
