a project to join
INDIGO MED is a Greek SME specialising in stakeholder engagement, communication and dissemination, capacity building, knowledge transfer, exploitation, policy uptake and impact in EU-funded research and innovation projects.
With nearly 20 years of experience, we work at the science–policy–stakeholder interface, helping research consortia translate scientific and technical results into stakeholder participation, practical uptake, policy relevance and measurable societal impact.
Our expertise is particularly relevant to environmental sustainability, marine and freshwater-related challenges, biodiversity, climate resilience, blue economy, Ocean Literacy and inclusive governance. We currently lead the Communication, Dissemination and Impact WP of the Horizon Europe Mission Ocean project BioProtect and capacity-building and Ocean Literacy activities in BRIDGE-BS. Previous experience includes MATES, MEDSkippers and several FP7/H2020 marine and environmental projects.
We also bring extensive EU proposal-writing experience, including development of impact pathways, stakeholder strategies, WPs, KPIs, exploitation and dissemination approaches, as well as European Commission evaluation experience.
Main skills: stakeholder engagement; inclusive governance; science-policy communication; capacity building; knowledge transfer; exploitation and uptake; impact assessment; EU proposal development.
Topic 1. Integrated Monitoring and Assessment for Sustainable Water Management
Topic 2. Nature-Based Approaches for Resilient Water Management at Hydrological and Hydrogeological System Scale
Topic 3. Smart, Secure and Adaptive Water Infrastructures for Sustainable Water Management
Topic 4. Resilient Water Systems Through Systemic Change, Policy Coherence and Inclusive Governance
INDIGO MED is seeking to join a research-led Water4All consortium where stakeholder engagement, inclusive governance, policy coherence, capacity building, knowledge transfer and societal uptake are integral to achieving sustainable water management.
We are particularly interested in proposals under Topic4 as well as interdisciplinary projects under other topics requiring a strong stakeholder, policy and impact dimension.
INDIGO MED could lead or contribute to stakeholder mapping and engagement; co-creation with communities, practitioners, authorities and industry; capacity building and training; science-policy dialogue; behavioural and societal uptake; communication and dissemination; exploitation and transfer; replication strategies; and impact pathways and KPIs.
We bring nearly 20 years of EU-project experience and an extensive European network spanning research organisations, universities, public authorities, NGOs, policymakers, blue-economy and environmental actors, educators and other EU-funded initiatives.
We are particularly interested in consortia seeking to connect scientific and technological water-management solutions with the institutions, stakeholders and communities responsible for implementing them, and can also actively support proposal development and writing.
