a partner (for my project)
We are seeking academic and industrial partners to form a competitive consortium for the Water4All 2026 Joint Transnational Call (Topic 3). Our project introduces an innovative, closed-loop smart faucet system integrated with an automated, eco-intelligent micro-valve mechanism to eliminate residential and commercial freshwater waste during the domestic hot water warm-up phase. Unlike traditional plumbing configurations, this system prevents clean, cold water from being discarded down the drain by dynamically capturing and storing it in a compact, smart-monitored buffer module. Empowered by embedded sensors and IoT connectivity, the architecture enables precise temperature calibration, multi-stage filtration, and autonomous fluid redirection back into the primary supply line without disrupting standard network pressure dynamics. Additionally, the device features an integrated interface displaying real-time volumetric consumption and thermal metrics, driving behavioral change through data transparency. We offer fully functional hardware/software prototypes and strong system integration capabilities. We are looking for experts in micro-fluidic modeling, thermostatic valve engineering, and municipalities/utilities to coordinate or join as pilot-testing partners.
Topic 3. Smart, Secure and Adaptive Water Infrastructures for Sustainable Water Management
Project Title: Closed-Loop Smart Faucet System for Zero-Waste Domestic Hot Water Management Project Description: We are developing an innovative, IoT-enabled smart faucet system integrated with an automated micro-valve mechanism to eliminate residential and commercial freshwater waste during the hot water warm-up phase. In standard plumbing systems, significant amounts of clean water are wasted while waiting for hot water to reach the tap. Our solution captures and stores this cold water within a compact, smart-monitored module until the desired temperature is reached, then automatically redirects it back into the primary supply line. The device features an integrated interface displaying real-time volumetric consumption and thermal metrics, driving public awareness toward sustainable water usage. Why we are looking for Partners / Contribution Needed: We are seeking international partners to build a competitive consortium for the Water4All 2026 Joint Transnational Call under Topic 3: Smart, secure and adaptive water infrastructures. We provide fully functional hardware/software prototypes and strong system integration capabilities. To complement our technical expertise, we are looking for: • Academic/Research Institutions: Experts in micro-fluidic modeling, hydraulic simulation, or advanced thermostatic valve engineering. • Industrial Partners: Smart home technology developers or automated valve/plumbing manufacturers. • End-Users / Municipalities: Public authorities, utiliti
