a project to join
The Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) is a non-profit organisation founded in 2005 in Larissa, Thessaly (Greece). It is a certified Centre of Excellence in European Entrepreneurship and coordinates a European Digital Innovation Hub. iED has implemented 400+ European and national projects (Horizon Europe, Interreg, PRIMA, Digital Europe, Erasmus+) and has a network of 4,200+ partners.

Main skills: stakeholder engagement and co-creation with authorities, businesses, farmers and communities; business models, financing and incentive schemes for uptake of solutions; exploitation and IPR; training through our accredited Lifelong Learning Centre; communication and knowledge transfer.

Ongoing projects: RESSORT, COCOON and ECOPILOT (Horizon Europe: exploitation, market uptake, stakeholder engagement), AURORA (Horizon Europe, climate resilience), FARM360TECH (ERDF I3, agri-food innovation), SchoolMedDiet (PRIMA).
Topic 1. Integrated Monitoring and Assessment for Sustainable Water Management
Topic 2. Nature-Based Approaches for Resilient Water Management at Hydrological and Hydrogeological System Scale
Topic 3. Smart, Secure and Adaptive Water Infrastructures for Sustainable Water Management
Topic 4. Resilient Water Systems Through Systemic Change, Policy Coherence and Inclusive Governance
iED seeks to join 1-2 consortia as a funded partner from Greece (GSRI). Our best fit is Topic 4 (policy coherence and inclusive governance) and sub-topics 2.3 (economic valuation and stakeholder models for NBS) and 1.3 (decision support and socio-economic dimensions).

We can offer:

co-design of decision-support tools with water managers, farmers and authorities
inclusive stakeholder engagement methods
incentive, co-financing and business models for scaling solutions
exploitation, replication plans and training for end users
Knowledge Hub tasks (ambassador, policy briefs)

We can also bring a pilot area in Thessaly, a key agricultural region with heavy groundwater abstraction and competing irrigation demand, with direct links to regional authorities and farmer networks.

We are looking for consortia led by universities or research centres in hydrology, hydrogeology or water governance, where iED has a clear task beyond dissemination.
