Dr. Adnan M. Aish is a Water Resources and Climate Change expert based in the Gaza Strip, Palestine. With an extensive background in hydrogeology, water quality assessment, GIS and groundwater modeling. He earned his PhD in Water Resources Engineering (Hydrogeology) from Vrije University Brussels 2004, with his research focused on hydrogeological studies and artificial recharge modeling of the Gaza Coastal Aquifer. Dr. Aish has held several prominent academic and leadership positions as Head of the Earth Science Department and Director of the Institute of Water & Environment at Al Azhar University-Gaza. He has coordinated multiple capacity-building initiatives, conducted high-impact environmental assessments, and contributed to numerous international publications.
