Our work focuses on living lab implementation and testing in pilot urban catchments, campuses, and municipalities; integration of monitoring and modelling through sensor data, remote sensing, and process-based models; and development of decision-support tools such as spatial planning tools, digital twins, and risk-based prioritisation frameworks. We address nature-based solutions, including their design, performance assessment, and integration into urban water systems, while emphasizing stakeholder engagement, governance, and co-creation with municipalities, river basin authorities, and regional actors. We also translate research into practice through guidelines, methodologies, and tools for public administration and water management. Our activities further include drought and climate change impact assessment, hydrological and hydraulic modelling, scenario analysis, catchment water balance evaluation, assessment of adaptation measures, analysis of hydrological extremes, and development of climate-resilient water management strategies.

Water4All2025-569 CLEARlakes – We contribute expertise in long-term monitoring, Earth observation and process-based modelling of catchments and reservoirs. In our 2025–2027 work, we develop methods for climate-change impact assessment on water quality, including Sentinel-2 time-series processing, validation with in situ data, and the WATERES-Q pack. for mapping water-quality parameters. Water4All2025-674 SAFE-NATURE – We offer experience in blue-green infrastructure, hydrol. modelling and health exposure pathways from projects such as Chytrá krajina 2030+, Envirocentrum Chodov and SPRINGINESS. We can provide demonstration sites, assess NbS performance under extreme events, and integrate ecosystem services and health co-benefits. Water4All2025-267 PRO-SWIM – We bring expertise in sensor networks, in situ monitoring, data integration and digital tools for stormwater and water-quality management under climate stress. Our contribution includes pilot deployment, validation and translation of monitoring outputs into decision support. Water4All2025-580 STEWARD – We develop risk-based methods for urban water systems, focusing on CSOs, pollutant transport, recipient sensitivity and decision support for Water Safety Planning at municipal and basin scales. Water4All2025-366 STORM – We combine contaminant-pathway modelling, hydrological processes, monitoring and risk interpretation to support One Health assessment of PFAS and mixtures through case studies and practical decision support.
