As SME founded in 2009, IBATECH TecnologĂ­a. is a multi-disciplinary engineering company specialising in the provision of innovative solutions to security, defence and environment sectors, in the chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) risk management domain.

IBATECH is developing different Non-Thermal Plasma (NTP), commonly called cold plasma, technology applications for biological and chemical (B&C) decontamination within several R&D programmes such as EDA (QUIXOTE), Spanish MoD (QUIXOTE II) and Spanish R&D project (COBRA). In this sense, expertise and knowhow acquired of NTP prototypes from the first (QUIXOTE), second (QUIXOTE II) and third (COBRA) generations of the developed cold plasma solutions can be used to remove pollutants as chemical hazardous compounds or pathogens in water.

At this stage, we can propose several prototype developments based on Non-Thermal Plasma (NTP), as clean and friendly decontamination of both harmful chemical and biological pollutants for agriculture, food safety, medical enviroments or water treatment.
For example, NTP prototype in water environment for the degradation and removal of PFAS in water.

We develop a relevant scale prototype, and then we can propose a validation scenario within indsutrial facility such as water treatment plant, brewery facility, fertiliser facility or agriculture environment.
