I am Senior Researcher at the National Research Council of Italy Institute of Structure of Matter in Rome. My group is specialized in the production of enzyme-based biosensors for the detection and monitoring of pollutants in water. Our sensors are fabricated following an innovative green and sustainable technique that does not use harmful chemical agents or matrices and that gives the biosensors a stability in reuse and storage never achieved before, reducing pollution from disposable devices. The great performance in terms of robustness of our sensors make them suitable for continuous water monitoring.
