My research is focused on monitoring heavy metal concentrations in a range of aquatic systems, as well as analysing water resources and water quality, including freshwater basins. I assess water quality index (WQI) and comprehensive pollution index (CPI). Furthermore, I conduct research on bioaccumulation and health risk assessment of heavy metals in lakes and lagoons. I have investigated the heavy metal content in the suspended particulate matter and sediments of bays and creeks.
I use a range of analytical techniques, including Water Quality Indices and GIS-Based Comparative Assessment, to investigate the bioaccumulation of specific heavy metals in sediments and the associated human health risks. Furthermore, I contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of water resource protection and sustainability, with a particular focus on ensuring access to clean water resources and the development of effective water management strategies in urban and rural settings. I work with leading experts in the field to improve our understanding of these critical issues in a laboratory and working group that has been accredited in the implementation of EPA standards in European Union harmonisation efforts.
Additionally, I utilise monitoring techniques to assess the water resourses.

I am looking to work on joint international projects. I want to be involved in a project that can establish solution-oriented research and trials with researchers from different disciplines in a wide scientific field.
