In the Methods for Monitoring Systems department we develop sensors and monitoring systems based on acoustic emissions for different types of structures (pipelines, buildings, bridges, tanks, machinery, underwater cables, offshore structures and even trees). In this way we can evaluate the condition of the structures and e.g. locate where the damage is located. Thus we have gathered experience in different areas of knowledge and applications specifically in materials, water related topics, and sensor development.

Since we specialize in monitoring systems, with respect to the Water4All call we want to develop a project in the direction for example of water reuse in industry, agriculture areas, monitoring of trees, pipelines, water treatment tanks, water quality parameters, or ocean and offshore applications, covering the topics of the call 1,3 and/or 4. We are open to apply for either the Joint Transnational Call (JTC) or the Early Career Researchers Call (ECR).
