I am a Research Scientist specializing in micro- and nanotechnology, focusing on nanophotonics. My expertise lies in developing advanced sensors using spectroscopy to detect pollutants such as pesticides, PFAS, and VOCs. I am part of SINTEF, one of Europe’s largest independent research organizations, boasting a team of 2200 dedicated professionals. Within SINTEF, the Smart Sensors and Microsystems department excels in the full value chain from development to small-scale production of chip-based sensors. We have a rich history of driving industrial growth and fostering start-up innovation. Our state-of-the-art NorFab facilities, including the 800m² cleanroom at MiNaLab, are equipped for both R&D and small-scale sensor production, ensuring cutting-edge solutions in silicon micro- and nano-fabrication.
