My research area is activated carbon production and wastewater treatment. We produce activated carbon from all biomass (tea waste, olive seed, peanut shell, etc.). Then we use them to absorb heavy metals, drugs, dyes etc. We are working on removing pollution in water and air with the environmentally friendly materials we produce.
Highly-effective removal of methylene blue dye using Cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) Pods modified with HCl: Optimization using response surface methodology
Fabrication of date palm kernel biochar-sulfur (DPKB-S) for super adsorption of methylene blue dye from water
KMnO4-activated spinach waste biochar: An efficient adsorbent for adsorption of heavy metal ions in aqueous solution
