CISAS is a research center from the Polytechnic University of Viana do Castelo in Portugal, with 80+ scientists covering the entire food chain from farm to fork. We are a team that includes Agronomists, Veterinarians, Biologists, Microbiologists, Chemists, Zootechnicians, Nutritionists, and Ecologists among other subjects. We are equipped with chemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, and food technology labs. Topic 4. Economic, environmental and social implications of water reuse and recovered products

We would like to join projects on Topic 3 - Resource recovery and valorisation, e.g. wastewater for irrigation, and management of effluents from animal farming. We are also interested in Topic 4 - Economic, environmental, and social implications of water reuse and recovered products, and participate in projects considering the reuse of wastewater in the rural or urban environment e.g. to be used in urban irrigation and or street or facility cleaning. We are a group of scientists with the potential for an interdisciplinary research approach. We have strong industry partners and good links with both rural and urban communities to develop social aspects of projects. We are experienced in running living labs involving different societal actors.
