As a Naval Architect and Ocean Engineer, my expertise lies in conducting research related to offshore wind and hydrogen energy. My works encompass mainly the corrosion and wear of offshore materials. My researches focus on the degradation mechanisms affecting offshore materials, focusing on mitigating corrosion and wear to improve the longevity and reliability of maritime structures. Furthermore, I am committed to exploring sustainable practices and renewable energy integration within the offshore energy sector. This involves staying abreast of advancements in the field and examining innovative technologies such as hydrogen energy integration for their potential to revolutionize the maritime and energy industries.
PA2 - Blue economy sectors, development of marine multi-use infrastructures
PA3 - Planning and managing sea-uses at the regional level
We are looking for research opportunities on the integration of offshore wind energy and green hydrogen production for the minimization of environmental and optimization of cost and socio-economic impacts.
