Sustainable Blue Call 2024 on "Unified Paths to Climate-Neutral, Sustainable, and Resilient Blue Economy: Engaging Civil Society, Academia, Policy, and Industry"
While I have a PhD in bioprocess engineering that could have relevance to blue economy bioproduction, I am now interested in the people-centric aspects. I have recently moved to the Azores islands (Sao Miguel) and am interested in learning more and contributing to the knowledge base of the Azores. I am skilled at collaborating, particularly between very different disciplines. I am submitting a proposal regarding digital twins, but also focused on the multi-use infrastructures and managing sea-uses at regional level. I am however, looking for another, separate, project regarding sail-powered shipping vessels.
PA1 - Digital Twins of the Oceans (DTO) at regional sub basin scale
PA2 - Blue economy sectors, development of marine multi-use infrastructures
PA3 - Planning and managing sea-uses at the regional level
PA4 - Blue Bioresources
Looking to join a project regarding (prototype for) new-build mass-production of sail-powered smaller scale shipping vessels, for true zero-emission, sustainable Atlantic seafare for livestock, passengers and freight. In addition I am interested in developing the coordinating software infrastructure, similar to an "airBnB for shipping". I do not have experience in either of these areas, but I can coordinate the research project and do whatever needs to get done.
