Tecnoambiente is a company specializing in providing solutions and enabling sustainable progress in the marine environment. Since 1980, Tecnoambiente has completed more than 2,000 projects in nearshore and offshore areas related to industries such as renewable energy (wind and wave), submarine cables, coastal regeneration, fisheries, aquaculture, ports, and offshore O&G, among others.

Tecnoambiente performs all the required environmental, oceanographic, acoustic, fisheries, geotechnical, and geophysical surveys, according to international standards. As well as data analysis, Tecnoambiente undertakes desktop studies focused on maritime spatial planning, key performance indicators, risk assessment, mitigation measures, and environmental awareness among others. Tecnoambiente owns accredited laboratories.

In summary, Tecnoambiente´s strengths in achieving a successful execution of marine renewable projects are the following:
• More than 10 years’ experience working on marine renewable projects in Spain, France, and UK.
• Familiarized and compliant with the industry requirements and standards.
• Experience in supporting projects to develop offshore wind, tidal, and wave energy.
• Proven track record in executing environmental baseline and environmental assessment studies, as well as conducting permitting processes related to offshore renewables.
• Successful execution of bathymetric, geophysical, and geotechnical surveys under numerous specific territorial requirements.

PA2 - Blue economy sectors, development of marine multi-use infrastructures

We are interested in participating in projects that require environmental and baseline studies. We have the expertise to assess the impacts and benefits of new technologies or their commercial setups in the following stages. Our experience includes performing ACL, EIA carbon, and water footprint assessments, among others.

We are particularly interested in projects related to marine renewables, such as green hydrogen, in which we have prior experience.
