Mr Viesca has more than 20 years of experience in European funds and projects. In particular, Mr Viesca has worked as a former European projects and funds director at Generalitat Valenciana; Coordinated the European Social Fund (ESF), the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), and the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for Displaced Workers (EGF) in the Valencian Community; Managed and coordinated European Territorial Cooperation offices in Valencia to implement MED, Interreg IVC and INTERACT projects; and Coordinated and monitored state aid approved by the Generalitat Valenciana within the framework of EU competition policy. Additionally, Mr Viesca is a professor in the MA studies in International and European Studies at Universitat de Valencia.

As a project manager in the field of European funds and director of the EU funds department, Mr.Viesca has project management skills, networking, promotion and mediation skills. He has participated in several projects from different EU programmes, specially within ERASMUS and HORIZON programmes. He is developing projects that consist of promoting, communicating and amplifying the results of European projects through the organization of high-impact events such as Accelerathons, Hackathons and the Startup Europe Awards.
