a project to join
I am one of the representative members of Turkey in the International Corrosion Council (ICC) since 2015. I worked on biodegradable implants as a visiting professor at Bergamo University, Italy from September 2020 to 2022.
My subject expertise and focus are on corrosion, corrosion control, corrosion-resistant materials and corrosion inhibitors – principles and mechanisms. He is the first researcher who used the Dynamic Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (DEIS) method in corrosion inhibitor studies. Through this technique, we can have information about the instantaneous changes in the investigated system.
Corrosion-resistant steel, Al, Cu and brass alloys, Mg-based bioresorbable medical implants, Zn-rich coatings and corrosion-resistant construction materials are some of the ongoing topics for research in my laboratory. I have authored more than 70 SCI scientific papers in high-impact journals. I have seven ongoing patents to his credit based on boron-doped corrosion inhibitors.
I can contribute to the project with the determination of corrosion by chemical and electrochemical methods. We can use the DEIS method in MIC studies for the first time.
PA1 - Planning and managing sea uses at the regional level
PA2 - Development of offshore marine multi-use infrastructures to support the blue economy
PA4 - Green transition of Blue Food production

I have a dynamic and well-equipped laboratory that has currently become a knowledge and research centre for many postdoctoral researchers, doctoral students, master’s and bachelor’s degree students. I can contribute to the project with the determination of corrosion by chemical and electrochemical methods. We can use the DEIS method in MIC studies for the first time.
Green corrosion inhibitors with biocidal properties can be developed.

*I am MC member of EUROMIC- CA20130 EU project (https://www.euro-mic.org/).
**I am the local organiser of “MIC Industry Workshop & Training Course in Turkey” event (http://mic.duzce.edu.tr/ ).
***I am one of the representative members of Turkey in the International Corrosion Council (ICC)
*I have many contacts with scientists from all over the world. I am on the editorial board of several SCI-indexed journals and I can send announcement emails to the authors regarding this kind of event.
