Avventura Urbana (AU), founded in 1992, is an Italian consultancy for the management of complex decision-making processes, operating with advanced tools of citizens’ and stakeholders’ involvement and consensus building on the local, national, and international levels. AU aims to enhance collaborative decision-making in public policies and organisations and to empower organisations to deliver participatory processes. It has accompanied around 300 organisations in building participatory paths in various policy areas.
AU supports projects that address climate change adaptation, resilience of urban and rural areas, responsible use of natural resources, the establishment of energy communities and the design of Nature Based Solutions through participatory design and research and communication strategies. It assists public administrators in developing strategic plans and in participatory budgeting. It also helps local authorities in achieving shared policies for their cities and neighborhoods, using innovative participatory planning methods. AU is specialised also in conflict mediation and public debates on controversial infrastructures and other projects.
In its activities, it uses a wide range of participatory methods/tools, such as, for instance: Open Space Technology, Future Search Conference, Scenario Workshop, Deliberative events, Planning for Real, Co-design workshops, Charrette, Participatory Gender Audit, Sustainability Reporting

PA1 - Planning and managing sea uses at the regional level
PA2 - Development of offshore marine multi-use infrastructures to support the blue economy
PA4 - Green transition of Blue Food production

We are looking for projects interested in a partner that could contribute to the following tender actions:
• Changing environmental scenarios, co-designed with the relevant authorities, about climate change, that address the effects of e.g., sea level rise, and the changing risks of coastal flooding will be proposed (priority Planning and managing sea uses at the regional level)
• In conjunction, the social acceptance and proposed solutions to solve competition or conflicts between the different users of the multi-use platforms or their surroundings will be important components to succeed in the multi-uses offshore platform development (priority Development of offshore marine multi-use infrastructures to support the blue economy)
• Socio-economic effects of the proposed innovations and their social acceptance by the actors from aquaculture and fisheries, and also by the citizens (priority Green transition of Blue Food production)
