Our research focuses on salmonid health, welfare, and environmental interactions in aquaculture. We hold a research and development license for the production of organic salmon and have a close operational and research collaboration with one of Norway's largest salmon producers. We contribute to the development of low-invasive methods for stress evaluation in aquaculture, employing medical and marine laboratory technology in areas such as immunology, hematology, histology, molecular biology, proteomics, and in vitro epithelial models for Atlantic salmon.
