Our group perform research using modern analytical techniques - Gas Chromatography - Tandem Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) - Liquid Chromatography – Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) - Gas chromatography with time-of-flight mass spectrometry (GC-QTOF/MS) - Liquid chromatography with time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LC-QTOF/MS) - Inductively coupled plasma – mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) - Flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (FAAS) We use advanced measurement techniques to study the processes taking place in industrial products, living organisms, clinical samples, environmental samples and others. We can measure: - elements, their speciation - heavy metals - organic pollutants – for example pesticides, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), pharmaceuticals We can also identify unknown chemical compounds.
PA3 - Climate-neutral, environmentally sustainable and resource-efficient blue food and feed
We are willing to join projects where chemical analysis is required. We are particularly interested in topics related to water contamination by various substances (organics, heavy metals, PFAS, microplastics and others) and methods of their purification. We are also interested in issues related to the accumulation of pollutants in aquatic organisms, penetration into the downstream food chain. We also have experience in projects related to the development of functional foods.
chemical analysis, heavy metals, pfas, microplastics, pesticides, icp-ms, lc-ms/ms, pollutants, water monitoring, water purification.
