a project to join
My research interests focus on marine ecotoxicology and ecophysiology in deep-sea ecosystems. Expert on molecular techniques and land-based experiments as tools to develop research on physiological mechanism to overcome cellular stress. Working on the impacts of anthropogenic activities in deep-sea ecosystems, emergent pollutants, marine litter as vectors of deep-sea contaminants, bioaccumulation and dynamics of contaminants on commercial seafood. Member of DOSI and MSFD Expert Network on Marine Contaminants working groups, PI of regional projects and team member of national and EU projects. I dedicate part of my research to support Regional Government policy decisions and scientific dissemination among peers and the younger audience.
PA1 - Planning and managing sea uses at the regional level
PA4 - Green transition of Blue Food production
I would like to join projects related with anthropogenic impacts on marine ecosystems; impacts of micro and nanoplastics in marine fauna as vectors of contaminants; seafood safety; ocean literacy
anthropogenic, seafood, contaminants, pollution, ocean, fauna, microplastic, nanoplastic, ecosystmes, literacy
