Our research group can contribute with expertise in processing of fish and algae for feed and human consumption, including product development, shelf-life testing and packaging. Our group also have experience in quality assessment, including sensorial and chemical analyses. We also hold infrastructure and laboratory facilities for production of prototype products for human consumption. From previous projects we have experience with food related research within blue – and green value chains. We have a close link to the industry and have experience with many different production processes and products.

We would like to join a project that will work with new innovative concepts for utilizing new marine resources. Further, we wish to join projects that focuse on developing products from species that are not fully utilized today, e.g., by-catch and side streams for human consumption.
