At OHU in Türkiye, we specialize in evaluating the effects of feeds and feed additives on animal health and production, as well as product quality and safety. Our fully equipped poultry research facilities include units for both broiler and laying hen production, a hatchery, a slaughterhouse, a meat inspection unit, and an egg quality evaluation center. Additionally, we operate a research dairy farm with advanced automatic feeding and robotic milking systems. We actively participate in various interaction forums, such as Prima, COST, and Newton projects. Furthermore, we maintain a centralized laboratory that provides a comprehensive range of resources for various assays.

I am interested in projects that assess the potential benefits of using seaweed/microalgae-derived feeds as a sustainable source of nutrition for various farm animals and aquaculture, by assessing their impact on the animal physiological response, health status, and product quality and safety, while also considering sustainability and economic implications of using these alternative feeds in animal nutrition.
