a project to join
The Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique (PMBA) is a maritime innovation business cluster, created in 2005. PMBA manages a network of more than 400 organisations on a triple helix approach in which industries (SMEs, start-ups, major companies), research centres and academia work together to develop innovative projects around the maritime innovation. The PMBA cluster aims to enhance the capacity of companies to innovate, to stimulate growth and to increase employment in promising markets. Its main territories of action are located in the Northwest of France in the regions Brittany and Pays de la Loire. PMBA intervenes in various strategic action areas such as, defence, maritime safety and security; shipbuilding and leisure boatbuilding; marine energy and mining resources; marine biological resources; coastal and environmental planning and management and maritime ports, infrastructure and transport.
PA1 - Planning and managing sea uses at the regional level
PA2 - Development of offshore marine multi-use infrastructures to support the blue economy
PA3 - Climate-neutral, environmentally sustainable and resource-efficient blue food and feed
PA4 - Green transition of Blue Food production
PA5 - Digital Twin of the Ocean (DTO) test use cases at EU sea-basins and the Atlantic Ocean
PMBA is looking for a project to join which aims to enhance the competitiveness of the blue economy by promoting innovation and the adoption of new technologies, also by fostering synergies between research, academia and companies. Therefore, the project will facilitate the emergence of collaborative research and development projects and support the growth of the regions and companies.
