a partner (for my project)
University of Technology was founded in 1918. TalTech is the sole technological university in Estonia. It is also the most international university in Estonia. As a leader in science, technology, and innovation, the school maintains constant interaction with universities around the world, bringing together scientists, students, and entrepreneurs. At School of Engineering significant R&D projects are developed, e.g. robotic vessel NYMO, self-driving car ISEAUTO, mobile application NutiSoojus (for sustainable district heating/Smart Heat). Department of Marine Systems (School of Science) has experience with the Copernicus Marine Environment Monitoring Service (CMEMS) - development and application of Ocean Monitoring Indicators, quality control of the products and development of numerical models (circulation, waves, bio-geochemistry) and other. School of Information Technologies, Centre for Biorobotics has innovative projects, for example: Filose - a fish robot prototype that moves using a soft tail actuated only by one motor; and U-CAT - a highly maneuverable biomimetic holonomic underwater robot, small size of it makes it suitable for navigating in confined spaces, such as shipwrecks, underwater mining structures etc.
PA1 - Planning and managing sea uses at the regional level
PA2 - Development of offshore marine multi-use infrastructures to support the blue economy
