My expertise / skills : Lab-on-a-Chip microfluidic consumables and systems for Point-of-use and field testing/monitoring.

Our core expertise lies in the design, development and scale-up for manufacturing of bioanalytical systems using centrifugal microfluidic technologies however we also have capability in other formats such as lateral flow. We capability in both the instrument/reader system development and also the microfluidic cartridge development.
Core IP in our patented valving technology enables us to achieve a higher level of integration and implement more complex and demanding assays on the cartridge than other platforms.
The analyte sample may be liquid such as whole blood, plasma, saliva, urine or other solid materials such as food or environmental material.
We specialise in automating, time consuming and unreliable. error prone manual laboratory processes for sample preparation and assay implementation enabling such assays to be used in the field.
Our target application is typically point-of-use, point-of-need, in-line or at-line scenarios where fast and reliable time to answer is required to deliver actionable information to the user.

Project description : We are looking for a project where we can apply our point-of-use, point-of-need microfluidic sample preparation and assay technology platforms to the generation and collection of new data where portable, handheld or mobile device deployment is required/beneficial to enabling the collection of new data. Our platforms can be applied to immunoassay, molecular detection and cell based assays in environmental, agricultural, aquaculture or food based environments.
