I specialize in plant systematics and the ecology of endemic plants. I have also participated in projects related to phytochemicals and ethnobotany. Currently, I serve as a genus author for the revised Flora of Turkey (https://turkiyeflorasi.org.tr/).
I am open to collaborative projects comparing Mediterranean and European flora, particularly regarding their ecological resilience and the chemical variation among identical and distinct species. Furthermore, I welcome opportunities to collaborate on floristic surveys and on determining the ecological requirements of drought-stress resistant plants.
I am interested in projects focusing on ecological plant diversity, the selection of drought-tolerant plants, and the application of these species in livestock farming, agriculture, and landscape design. I am open to collaboration on projects dedicated to the conservation of endemic plants and determining their role in biodiversity. Furthermore, I am eager to work with team spirit on identifying the chemical profiles of plants at the family, genus, or taxon level, as well as assessing their economic value.
