Field of Expertise: Food Engineering, Sustainable Food Processing, Circular Bioeconomy, and Agri-Food By-Product Valorisation. My research focuses on sustainable food processing technologies, valorisation of agricultural and food-processing by-products, food powder and particle engineering, plant-based proteins, and innovative processing technologies. My recent research includes the recovery and characterisation of functional ingredients from agri-food residues, such as dietary fibres, pectin, proteins, and bioactive compounds, as well as the development of sustainable food formulations. I am also involved in the European FutureFoodS Partnership, contributing to food-system transformation, stakeholder collaboration, and knowledge exchange. Within BiodivFuture, I am particularly interested in interdisciplinary projects investigating circular bioeconomy approaches, sustainable biomass utilisation, biodiversity-positive agricultural practices, and Living Labs supporting socio-ecological transitions.

I am interested in joining an international consortium under the BiodivFuture call to contribute my expertise in sustainable food processing, circular bioeconomy, and agri-food by-product valorisation to interdisciplinary research addressing biodiversity and socio-ecological transitions. I am particularly interested in exploring how sustainable biomass utilisation, resource-efficient processing, and circular food-system approaches can support biodiversity-positive practices and ecosystem resilience. Through this collaboration, I aim to establish new international research partnerships, contribute to joint research activities and Living Labs, and support the development of innovative, practical solutions that connect biodiversity conservation with sustainable food systems.
I am seeking networking opportunities with international researchers, universities, research institutes, industry partners, and Living Lab initiatives working on biodiversity, circular bioeconomy, sustainable biomass utilisation, and socio-ecological transitions. I am particularly interested in joining interdisciplinary consortia, developing joint research proposals, exchanging expertise, and establishing long-term collaborations within the BiodivFuture framework.
