I am looking for a project to join
I am a researcher in Strategic Management, System Dynamics, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, with expertise in the management of complex adaptive systems and the transformation of scientific knowledge into societal, environmental, and economic value. My work focuses on understanding how organizations, innovation ecosystems, and stakeholders interact to support sustainable development, circular economy, and blue economy initiatives.
I recently coordinated the Biodiversity Gateway Venture Building Program at the University of Palermo, supporting researchers and innovators in translating biodiversity-related research into entrepreneurial opportunities, innovation projects, and impact-oriented ventures. This experience strengthened my expertise in biodiversity innovation ecosystems, stakeholder engagement, venture creation, and science-based entrepreneurship.
I am also involved in the Horizon Europe project “Living Labs for Bioeconomy: Circular Bioeconomy Valorisation through Social Sciences Living Labs”, which aims to accelerate the valorisation of bioeconomy research through collaborative innovation processes and stakeholder-centred approaches.
My core competencies include strategic management of complex adaptive systems, technology transfer, research valorisation, innovation ecosystem development, venture building, circular and blue economy business models, stakeholder engagement, and System Dynamics modelling for decision support.

I am interested in joining a BiodivFuture consortium because it offers a unique opportunity to connect biodiversity research with innovation, entrepreneurship, and societal impact. While biodiversity projects generate valuable scientific knowledge, translating research outcomes into practical solutions, sustainable business models, and long-term societal benefits remains a critical challenge.
My research focuses on bridging this gap through technology transfer, research valorisation, stakeholder engagement, and innovation ecosystem development. I am particularly interested in supporting pathways that transform biodiversity-related knowledge into innovative products, services, ventures, and governance solutions capable of generating environmental and socio-economic value.
Drawing on my experience coordinating the Biodiversity Gateway Venture Building Program and participating in Horizon Europe bioeconomy initiatives, I can contribute to exploitation and impact strategies, innovation and venture development, stakeholder co-creation processes, System Dynamics modelling, and the design of circular and blue economy business models. I am especially interested in interdisciplinary consortia seeking to strengthen the innovation, dissemination, and societal impact dimensions of biodiversity research.

I am interested in collaborating with researchers, public authorities, NGOs, and industry partners working on biodiversity innovation, bioeconomy, circular and blue economy, technology transfer, living labs, and research valorisation. I can contribute to stakeholder engagement, impact and exploitation activities, innovation ecosystem development, venture-building initiatives, and System Dynamics modelling supporting biodiversity-based solutions and sustainable business models.
