I am looking for a project to join
I am an Associate Professor of Information Management at National Central University, Taiwan, specialising in Human-Centered AI, digital resilience and vulnerability, socio-technical systems, and technology-enabled community adaptation.
My research examines how digital technologies, AI, participatory platforms, and data-driven decision support can help individuals and communities understand environmental change, develop adaptive capabilities, and make more inclusive and resilient decisions. My current work includes community-based environmental risk perception, participatory environmental monitoring, digital inclusion, local climate adaptation, and human-centered approaches to AI-supported decision-making.
For BiodivFuture, I am particularly interested in interdisciplinary projects connecting novel ecosystem trajectories with community adaptation, biodiversity benefits and equity, citizen participation, environmental intelligence, and digital decision support. I can contribute socio-technical research design, surveys and experiments, participatory methods, AI/data analytics, and Taiwan-based comparative cases or community living labs.

I am seeking to join a BiodivFuture consortium addressing the socio-ecological consequences and future trajectories of novel ecosystems, particularly under Themes B and C.
I am especially interested in projects examining how communities perceive and respond to ecosystem change; how biodiversity-related resources and benefits translate into adaptive capabilities and well-being; and how digital technologies, participatory monitoring, citizen-generated data, and Human-Centered AI can support inclusive and evidence-informed adaptation.
I can contribute a socio-technical and Information Systems perspective to complement ecological and environmental science expertise. Potential contributions include leading or co-leading a work package or task on community adaptation, environmental risk and benefit perception, participatory environmental intelligence, digital decision support, citizen engagement, or equity and adaptive capabilities.
I can also contribute Taiwan-based comparative research and community living-lab settings, enabling cross-country analysis of how different social, cultural, technological, and institutional contexts shape responses to novel ecosystem trajectories.

I plan to attend ACIS 2026 in Perth, Australia in Dec and ICIS 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal, in Dec. I would also be happy to arrange online meetings with prospective BiodivFuture consortium partners before the proposal deadline.
