I am looking for a partner (for my project)
Daniela Trifan (https://orcid.org/0000-0001-5760-2852), the project manager representing SCDA Brăila, has been a scientific researcher since 2012 and the station's director since 2019. In 2020, she became the president of the Agrosmart Cluster. As a project director, she has coordinated 11 research projects and participated in 8 others; she serves as a reviewer for 5 specialized international journals and organizes—in a coordinating capacity—an annual international conference, various symposia and workshops, as well as professional development courses for farmers and young researchers. She has authored over 100 scientific articles and 9 specialized books and manuals. In 2022 and 2023, she received two "Green Report" awards: the "Excellence in Natural Heritage Conservation Projects" award for the project *Research on the Digitalization of Agriculture in Northern Bărăgan Using Drones and Satellites to Monitor Crops and Optimize Agricultural Technologies* (https://www.agrodatasmart.ro/ ), and the "Excellence in Agri-Food" award for the ADER 1.2.2 project (*Establishment of Agroforestry Shelterbelts and Study of Their Influence on Anti-Erosion Protection and Crop Evapotranspiration* – https://scdabraila.wixsite.com/ader122 ) and the ADER 20.1.3 project (*Measures and Recommendations for Reducing the Risk of Soil Salinization and Erosion Under the Influence of Climate Change* – https://scdabraila.wixsite.com/ader2013 ).

BIOSMARTLIFE is an interdisciplinary, cutting-edge research project designed to secure the long-term sustainability of agroecosystems in the face of climate change and circular economy demands, bearing in mind that without clean water, clean soil, and clean air, life cannot thrive in well-being. The project tackles major environmental and agricultural challenges through the following core pillars: (1) - BIO - Advanced Biotechnological solutions by isolating and deploying native, multi-functional microbial consortia with probiotic properties to boost plant growth and immunity, while simultaneously possessing the capability to degrade plastic residues and bioremediate or immobilize heavy metals in the soil. (2) - SMART - Integrated digital monitoring by implementing a state-of-the-art digital platform that combines rhizosphere IoT sensors, satellite imagery, multispectral drone mapping, and metagenomic tracking to monitor real-time soil fertility, microbial biodiversity shifts, and pollution hot-spots. (3) - LIFE - Water resources protection for a cleaner World: Through targeted soil remediation and runoff mitigation, the project safeguards groundwater and surface water quality against agricultural pollution, contributing directly to the European Green Deal and the Zero Pollution action plan.
