I am looking for a project to join
Environmental epidemiologist and health geographer with expertise at the intersection of urban biodiversity, greenness, climate, human health and equity. I lead research evaluating large-scale urban greening interventions and develop methods to characterize ecological environments and link them with longitudinal health outcomes.

Expertise includes environmental epidemiology; biodiversity and health; urban ecology; GIS and spatial analysis; remote sensing; exposure assessment; urban forestry; nature-based solutions; intervention evaluation; climate resilience; and health equity. Current work also uses LiDAR, high-resolution imagery, ecological observations and AI-assisted methods to characterize vegetation composition and biodiversity.

I am particularly interested in collaborations examining novel ecosystems, urban biodiversity, ecological change, nature-based solutions, ecosystem services/disservices, and their consequences for human health and equity.

I am looking to join a BiodivFuture consortium as a project partner. I am particularly interested in proposals addressing novel ecosystems, urban biodiversity, nature-based solutions, ecological restoration or transformation, and the consequences of biodiversity change for people and cities.

I can contribute a strong human-health and urban-environment component, including environmental epidemiology, health and equity evaluation, GIS and spatial modelling, remote sensing, exposure assessment, longitudinal analysis, and evaluation of real-world urban interventions. I can also contribute experience characterizing urban vegetation and biodiversity using field observations, high-resolution imagery, LiDAR and AI-assisted spatial methods.

I am especially interested in partnering with teams that already have strong ecological expertise, study sites, biodiversity monitoring data or implemented interventions and would benefit from adding health, equity, spatial analysis or urban-environment expertise. I am open to contributing to an existing consortium or helping develop a complementary work package within an emerging proposal
