We are a multidisciplinary Franco-Tunisian team with no prior experience in conducting European projects.

Our research aims to optimize the management of Tunisian dam reservoirs, artificial ecosystems that have been subject to both intentional and unintentional species introductions - with the goal of supporting key ecosystem services such as the supply of high-quality water and carbon export via fish production.
Our areas of expertise include:
- hydrology and trophic ecology using stable isotopes
- fisheries science, including echo-integration, fish & plankton sampling, and fishery monitoring
- aquaculture, specifically the rearing of various fish species (zander, black bass, etc.)
- ecotoxicology, through the contaminant monitoring required for the commercialization of the catch.
We have a network of stakeholders interested in our studies (fishermen's organizations, lake managers, etc.).

We aim to joint a project on the sustainable management of freshwater hyrosystems in the context of severe climate change using dam reservoirs in Tunisia's hinterland as case studies.
Created in arid zones to supply drinking water and support agriculture, these artificial hydrosystems also sustain commercial fisheries thanks to the introduction of non-native species.
Currently facing prolonged periods of drought, we seek to improve our understanding of how these novel ecosystems functionning is affected by climate change
